Youth & Senior Intergenerational Program

Our Youth & Senior Intergenerational Program brings together young people and older adults in Nevada for shared activities that benefit both age groups. Through these Intergenerational programs, youth practice listening, patience, and respect, while seniors experience connection and reduced loneliness.

We offer Youth and Senior Empathy Sessions where participants share stories about school, work, and childhood, guided by prompts that encourage understanding. Intergenerational Storytelling circles invite seniors to talk about earlier decades while youth describe life today, sparking curiosity and laughter. Joint Arts and Crafts workshops give pairs or small groups a chance to create something with their hands while talking informally.

Senior Companionship Activities and Youth-Senior Teamwork Workshops add games, problem-solving tasks, and light movement. These Elder youth activities Nevada communities support become a living classroom for Social emotional learning. As one of the few Youth and senior intergenerational activities Nevada offers through Las Vegas youth programs, this initiative strengthens community bonds across generations.
